My new obsession was found on my last visit to the Alexander Palace Knit and Stitch Show. A relaxing and petty therapeutic way to enjoy some sewing down time. The cord is specially made to be sewn together on a domestic machine with a wide zig zag stitch. This session will guide you through the basic technique and produce a place mat, followed by a small bowl then you can decide how you want to progress. I have a few examples to inspire you but you may come up with something new and innovative. The cord will be included, just let mek now your colour preference. Please bring your machine. It must be able to do a very wide zig zag stitch and its a good idea to have a wide presser foot too. Scissors, long pins and a tape measure would be good to bring as well. Lets spend a few hours of mindful sewing and create fabulous things Please choose your colour and add to the notes Matching thread will be given unless you would like a contrast of your choice.
