A three day masterclass to create a traditional style shirt so that we can cover the design details that involves. We will use your bodice pattern block, or borrow one of mine to make a pattern which will incorporate the following: Collar, with stand & fall Placket Buttonholes & buttons Cuffs Shoulder yoke Darts Flat felled seams We will follow the pattern making by making a toile of the shirt and sewing all of the above. You will then be able to go away with a complete pattern & a toile for reference & make a shirt in your own choice of fabric Included will be the following Toile fabric Thread Buttons Paper Please bring Your own bodice block if you have one or let me know before and I will prepare one to lend you Set square & metre ruler Sewing machine Scissors and basic equipment such as tape measure, pins, seam ripper etc By the end of the sessions you will be able to add all of the practised design features and go on to make stunning unique shirts to a high standard. Each day will be 10.30 to 3.30
